Cropped Owls

Kinder loved their take on this lesson!

Kinder is in full swing in the Art room. This year we are really focusing on sharpening our motor skills. What better way to review the proper use of scissors and glue and introduce collage to kinder than to make some Big Cropped Owl Faces.

This project is perfect for kinder because it improves their manipulative skills, but also allows students to think about shape, placement, movement and rhythm in Art. It is also a great way to use up all your old scrap paper!

Just look at these fun Owl Faces...

What a Hoot! The kids loved seeing their art work all together. We lined the Kinder hall with these babies to celebrate the start of Fall!

Materials:

19 x 24 Black Paper
