Jen Stark Collaborative Drip Wall


 

Sometimes in Art class you share time with different events. So you just got to be flexible and try to find what works for you and your students.

This Jen Stark Drip Art was a great little collaborative project for my 2nd -5th grade. They did this while they were working school wide on a fundraiser. 

Students looked at Modern artist Jenn Stark's drip art murals and her fiber art. Students learned how to create a drip that shows movement, rhythm, pattern, and color.

We put all student drip work together to make a large scale drip mural. I think it turned out very fun. I love the positive and negative space of the thin drips and the use of color!

It made a fun display for our Art Walk. 

Students really enjoyed this lesson. Altogether it made a fun display!
