Abstract Landscapes

 Abstract Landscapes


3rd - 4th grade students did wonderful creating colorful imaginative abstract landscapes.

Students studied the Canadian artist Ted Harrison.


Students learned how to create an abstract landscape using various lines, shapes, and overlapping to create depth and simple perspective.

Students loved tracing their work with black glue. After the glue fully dried, they applied warm and cool watercolor.  I just love the results!
