Kandinsky Sky Cityscapes

 3rd - Kandinsky Sky Cityscapes


 These cityscapes were created by my awesome 3rd graders. They learned how to overlap geometric shapes to help create distance near and far. Students learned how to use a ruler to create right angles, parallel lines, and diagonal lines. Students were introduced to techniques such as stippling and cross hatching in art. 


Later looking at Kandinsky Circles, they created these colorful Kandinsky inspired skies.

Students were proud of their work, and I think they turned out pretty neat too.
