Watercolor Pumpkins

Fall is in the air and pumpkins are everywhere. It's that time of year again! 4th Grade are excited for fall and so why not celebrate it by learning how to draw and paint a big pumpkin that shows form and value.

Students looked at the pumpkin life cycle.
They talked about organic shapes and how pumpkins can be various sizes and forms.

They drew pumpkins using pencil and had a blast watercoloring them. Last students had the option to add patterns to their dry work using sharpie.

I love the curly vines on their pumpkins!

I think they turned out wonderful.

Happy Fall Y'all!
